Laundromat use
You must be in attendance prior to the completion of the wash or dry of your items.
If you are not in the shop your items may be removed so other customers may use the machine.
The owner does not take responsibility for lost, missing or damaged items.
We recommend remaining in the shop while your items are washed and or dried.
Sports & Business Discounts
Discounts are given at the discretion of the business owner.
If discounts are viewed as not suitable other options may be offered.
Offers and discounts will be set out in an agreement between the two parties owner and customer, an expiry date will also be set. Offers and discounts may be revoked at any time at the discretion of the owner following notification to the customer.

We use the Tanger pay system for cashless payments at the laundromat. Use the kiosk or qr code to pay.

Terms & Conditions
1- The Terms will apply to any order that Modern Luxury Laundromat accepts from you via its Self-service drop chute, website, memberships, phone, text or by email. Modern Luxury Laundromat may change the Terms as required. The latest version will be published on our website which will apply to your order.
2- Submission of a booking through Modern Luxury Laundromat’s online ordering system will receive a written confirmation of its acceptance of your order and contact information.
3- For house collections. You can cancel your order any time up to 3 hours before Modern Luxury Laundromat collects your laundry. Cancelling your order less than 3 hours before a collection will incur a $15 administration charge.
4- Modern Luxury Laundromat may cancel your order if:
there is an intervening event outside its control; or
you fail to make items available for collection; or
it considers any item does not correspond with your order, is damaged, has no information about its content or cleaning instructions or does not fall within items it accepts.
5- Modern Luxury Laundromat will endeavour to pick-up and deliver at the times specified in your order but does not warrant that it will always be able to do so.
6- For online, phone or SMS orders where pick up and delivery is arranged a payment link will be emailed or sent via SMS to you once your laundry is completed and Modern Luxury Laundromat will deliver your laundry once you have paid the invoice. Modern Luxury Laundromat reserves the right to withhold your laundry until payment is received in full. For self-collection orders, payment is due on pickup. For memberships, payment is direct debited according to the membership plan.
7- Current pricing is outlined on the website. Your items will be counted or weighed after collection.
8- Payment is accepted by Credit Card or Debit Card via the online payment link in the invoice. A 2.3% merchant fee is added to all transactions. For business accounts GST will be added.
9- If you fail to accept delivery of items at an agreed time, a redelivery fee of $15 will be charged to you. If you fail to accept delivery of an order/item more than 60 days after an invoice date, the order/item is determined as abandoned and Modern Luxury Laundromat may dispose of it to a charity shop.
10- You may arrange to have an order/item left in a safe place, collected from, or re-delivered to, a third party, but do so at your own risk. You may, by written instruction to Modern Luxury Laundromat, request it to leave an item in an agreed location without signing for delivery and Modern Luxury Laundromat will not be liable to you for any damage to or loss of the item after it is delivered.
11- If something goes wrong with your item whilst in Modern Luxury Laundromat’s care and it proves to be due to the fault of Modern Luxury Laundromat, it will refund your money for the laundry service of that item, however Modern Luxury Laundromat accepts no responsibility for items that are damaged or lost in the normal course of the laundry process.
12- Modern Luxury Laundromat accepts no responsibility for any item that is lost or damaged in the laundry process due to your failure to remove paper, tissues, pins, jewellery, coins, keys, pens, amongst others, from the item.
13- Modern Luxury Laundromat uses a cold washing laundry process and machine drying process (unless otherwise requested). It will endeavour to separate the items into lights and darks but accept no responsibility if there is any bleeding or colour transfer during the laundry process.
14- Modern Luxury Laundromat’s service is not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
15- If an item requires special care, you must bring that to Modern Luxury Laundromat’s attention. If you do not do so, Modern Luxury Laundromat may wash the item according to its care label or normal laundry process if there is no care label. You acknowledge and agree that any advice, recommendation, information or assistance that may be provided by Modern Luxury Laundromat is provided in good faith and in reliance upon the accuracy and completeness of information provided by you.
16- Modern Luxury Laundromat does not warrant that it will be able to remove all types of stains and will only provide a regular stain removal treatment if requested to do so.
17- If stain removal is required, more than the standard process, additional costs will incur. Stains are charged according to grade and will be added to the final bill.
18- By accepting payment of any sum after its due date, Modern Luxury Laundromat does not waive its right either to require payments as they fall due or to suspend or end the Terms.
19- If you do not pay Modern Luxury Laundromat any sum of the owed payment on the due date, interest at the rate of 15% per annum will be charged on that amount.
20- You will be in default if you do not pay Modern Luxury Laundromat when money is due for payment or fail to comply with any other obligation under these terms. You agree to pay on default all costs and expenses incurred by Modern Luxury Laundromat in exercising the Terms and you indemnify Modern Luxury Laundromat against any losses resulting from your failure to pay.
